A new lease of life has been given to the Royal Oak pub in Harlesden following a six-figure refurbishment that involved an AV technology overhaul thanks to TVC Technology Solutions.
When customers now enter the local hotspot, they will encounter an incredible two-storey venue that includes the latest AV technology available to provide the best customer experience. The improvements in audio, additional viewing screens, digital signage and lighting effects means the Royal Oak in Harlesden is now ready to go for the upcoming Summer of Sport.
As soon as you enter the Royal Oak, your attention is captured by a wide range of Samsung 4K LED Hospitality TVs.
With six TVs sized from 32” and 65” dimensions, these commercial screens are designed with the requirements of both the customer and pub owner in mind.
Crafted to operate continuously, the Royal Oak’s owners can indulge in the latest sporting events worry-free, as their multitude of screens are safeguarded against overheating, guaranteeing a premium viewing experience for their esteemed clientele.
Placed behind the bar, we have installed a 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV with an added accompaniment of MySign’s digital signage media player.
A notable advantage of this digital signage player lies in its user-friendly interface, enabling all Royal Oak staff to seamlessly present the latest drink specials and promotional content.
MySign’s cloud-based software for digital signage offers a wide array of templates for the Royal Oak to utilise. This equips any member of staff with the ability to easily customise, schedule, or update specific pub promotions with minimal effort.
Furthermore, the Royal Oak can make use of these pre-designed templates by incorporating them into their schedule, ensuring they are showcased at specified times throughout their operational hours. This functionality allows them to spotlight and advertise their diverse entertainment schedule during the day.
Moreover, as various musicians or live performers take centre stage, the digital display can feature their beverage offers.
To expertly compliment the TV screens, we have also evenly installed four Audac V8” 175W loudspeakers.
Featuring an 8” mid/low driver known for its high efficiency, this loudspeaker ensures that all customers at the Royal Oak can enjoy stunning audio during bustling midweek evenings filled with karaoke, quiz nights, and other entertainment events.
Their sleek enclosure makes them suitable for contemporary and stylish installation settings like bars and nightclubs.
Moving upstairs, the livelier sports bar/DJ area has been entirely refurbished with three 55” Samsung 4K Hospitality LED screens situated strategically so all the sporting action can be seen no matter where you are on the floor.
In the commercial environment, the best picture quality is vital. Samsung’s range of hospitality screens are all constructed with smooth motion handling to enable anyone who is viewing the content on screen to not have to deal with motion blur.
To further amplify the viewing experience, we provided and installed a Optoma 4500 Laser Projector. With the combination of energy-saving technology and 24/7 operation, this provides the Royal Oak another additional space to display promotional content alongside live sporting entertainment.
As this is the livelier area of the venue, to go along with four V8” loudspeakers, we have provided an Audac 12” Subwoofer in black.
Producing a max power output of up to 1000W, this subwoofer is another brilliant addition to the Royal Oak and their bid to provide consistent, high quality audio to their patrons during busier periods of an evening.
Finally, to complete the overall visual improvements to the customer experience, we have provided and installed six lighting effects into the ceiling around the DJ area. This allows for the pub to easily change the atmosphere during the busy evening periods to enhance the visual presentation.
