Bolton-based AV integrator TVC Technology Solutions has demonstrated its prowess in the audio-visual realm by being shortlisted for the coveted AV Project of the Year (Audio) 2024 at the prestigious AV News Awards.

This recognition comes in light of TVC’s outstanding work on the F1 Arcade in Birmingham, a cutting-edge immersive Formula 1 racing experience.

The F1 Arcade, situated in Birmingham has been hailed as a technological marvel, earning its place as a finalist in the AV Project of the Year (Audio) category for 2024. The venue boasts 53 motion F1 simulators, a state-of-the-art multi-zone audio system, a captivating LED video wall, and multiple high-resolution screens. 

TVC Technology Solutions utilised top-of-the-line technologies, including Wyrestorm HDMI solutions, Symtrix Prism DSP, and KV2 loudspeakers, to deliver an unparalleled sensory experience that mirrors the excitement of real F1 racing.

 

One of the standout features of the F1 Arcade is its meticulously designed eight-zone audio system, delivering immersive background music throughout the venue. The system’s flexibility allows for individual zoning adjustments, creating distinct atmospheres tailored to specific areas within the arcade.

For areas requiring a more robust audio experience, 12” high-performance subwoofers were deployed, ensuring an exceptional sound quality and pressure.
