The George Canning, Camberwell undergoes £200,000 investment prior to reopening

A highly popular pub in the local community, the George Canning in Camberwell, has recently reopened its doors this August following a £200,000 AV investment and marked the occasion with a grand launch party weekend across the first weekend of September. The pub will now boast a plethora of brand new Samsung UHD hospitality screens, a stunning 65″ Mitchell & Brown 4K Ultra HD screen and a whole host of 6″ RCF speakers around the pub to create an amazing venue for more customers to enjoy a drink with amazing entertainment.

Lounge Area

The lounge area at the George Canning includes three 55″ Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TVs that allows customers to watch all the latest sports action from around the world on a regular basis with clear 4K picture and performance. Dedicated hospitality screens are used specifically for use within commercial settings. They are designed with durability in mind, ensuring they can operate for a longer duration when compared with standard/domestic TVs, making them ideal for pub settings.

To complement both Samsung screens, the George Canning pub has a masterful Mitchell & Brown 65″ 4K Ultra HD TV that takes pride of place on the main viewing wall and amplify the viewing experience.

Behind the bar, the pub now has a 32″ Full HD LED TV is fitted and used as a digital advertising screen for the pub, ideal for promoting any of the George Canning’s latest drinks offers or upcoming events.

The digital signage display is powered by a MySign media player and digital signage software. With an array of digital signage templates, the cloud-based software is quick, easy, and accessible for staff to update and refresh the pub’s content when required.

Every pub needs a top of the range sound system to complement their state-of-the-art screens and the George Canning pub is no different. Involved in their six-figure refurbishment are six RCF 6″ two-way passive speakers. With an elegant and neutral design, these multipurpose speakers offer both wall and ceiling mounting possibilities making them ideal for almost any environment. The speakers surround the pub completely and provide a warm welcome as soon as you step foot through the doors.
