Barton Grange Garden Centre is a family run business located in Lancashire where you can discover a world of garden, home, and lifestyle inspiration under one roof. The award-winning garden centre, as voted for by the Garden Centre Association, is home to a Farm Shop, Cook Shop, Cafe, and Restaurant as well as various other departments that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Following on from the success of a previous AV installation completed by TVC at Barton Grange’s sister site the Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre , we were approached to help transform their Garden Centre with multiple digital display screens throughout the premises to present a wide array of messaging to their customers.
The client wanted a quick and easy digital display solution to keep their customers informed with the latest available promotions from different Barton Grange departments. We specified a total of 24 Samsung Commercial QB 4K UHD LED screens ranging from 43” – 55”, supplied and installed in high visibility locations across the site. The symmetrical design and narrow bezels enable seamless integration into any environment and maximise the space available. The Samsung commercial screens are also designed to have a longer run time than standard LED digital displays. They were fixed onto a mix of Peerless flat wall brackets and B-Tech ceiling mounts depending on whether they were being attached onto a wall or suspended from the ceiling.
The main requirement set out by the client was to have a degree of versatility with the content displayed on the screens, with the ability to vary the messaging on separate screens within the garden centre depending on their location.
To achieve this, all digital displays were linked to the same server using the Samsung digital signage software MagicInfo, this allows users to manage content and multiple devices on a single platform. A MagicInfo player enables users to remotely control display content, access hardware settings and troubleshoot issues. The client now uses the signage software to display their marketing materials such as: offers, events, restaurant/cafe opening times and even updates from the Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre which is also owned by the Barton Grange Group.
