We are delighted to announce that our F1 Arcade installation in London, has been shortlisted for the 2023 AV awards!
The AV Awards are the benchmark for excellence across the audio-visual industry, both in the UK and on the international stage. Judged by an independent panel of senior representatives from end-user organisations, consultants and key industry players, the F1 Arcade project, has made the final half dozen shortlist entries in the prestigious Leisure and Hospitality Project of the Year.
The shortlist comprises venue projects in Doha, Gothenberg, Tenerife and Magney-Le-Hongre in France, with only two entrants from the UK: The Talisker Experience Centre on the Isle of Skye and the F1 Arcade in central London.
“These prestigious awards are the leading platform for recognising excellence within the AV industry worldwide,” says Lucia Maguire, MD at TVD Group. “It is incredibly gratifying for TVC to be selected as a finalist alongside the scale and calibre of firms and their AV leisure industry projects around Europe and the Middle East. The F1 Arcade project was our most ambitious, challenging and high-profile AV integration project to date. We are pleased the end result has been recognised by the AV Award judges this year.”
According to the AV Awards website, this year has attracted a particularly strong field of high-quality entries worldwide as leisure and hospitality venues continue to invest in high-quality AV to differentiate their offering to consumers.
These awards showcase not only cutting-edge projects as an end result, but the judges also dig deep into technical innovation and integration, adaptation to changing consumer customer habits and environmental considerations from eco-friendly installation to long-term sustainability of the project.
Between now and the end of October, a panel of judges will compare and contrast the six finalists’ projects and assess each of these factors as well as the dynamic impact and consumer appeal of the end result. The overall category winner will be announced on November 3rd at a Black-Tie Awards presentation dinner event at Evolution London near Battersea Park and the iconic power station.
