The Penny Bank in Lancaster, is a former bank converted to a pub in 1991 and has managed to give the feeling of a much older town centre corner pub. Popular with shoppers during the day, it is part of the vibrant Lancastrian social scene during the evenings, the pub is run by national pub operator Craft Union, part of Ei Group Plc.
TVC were commissioned to transform the site and create a premier destination that appeals to a wide range of customers who enjoy fantastic beers, real ales and live sport. Additionally, using the latest digital signage solutions, they wanted to be able to communicate a regular programme of entertainment, promotions, and events.
TVC supplied and installed a full audio visual solution which included a feature 60" Samsung TV, ideal for showcasing the latest live sport events in stunning HD quality.
To add to the already impressive viewing options on offer to their customers, a wall mounted outdoor TV was installed. Secured in a weather and water resistant TV Shield, customers needn't miss any of the action.
Digital Signage was incorporated onto selected screens throughout the pub, allowing for promotions and advertisements to be displayed at selected times throughout the day.
Audio distribution equipment, supporting Karaoke / DJ connection points were also installed, complimented with a range of Tannoy speakers indoor and KEF Ventura speakers outdoor.
To complete the project and for added security, 14 CCTV dome cameras, live monitor and NVR Recorder were installed.
