At Oat Hill Mews, Care UK’s new care home launching in Leicestershire, and following specific site technical specifications in other UK homes, we were asked to provide a complete range of Smart TVs to be installed in Oat Hill Mews’ luxurious bedrooms, lounge areas and cafes.
Finally, in the reception area, alongside a large Smart TV screen, we have provided the Oat Hill Mews site with an industry-leading commercial digital signage media player.

Equipped with Freeview Play, residents have access to the past seven days of on-demand programming from channels like BBC, ITV and Channel 4. This is perfect for people who want to rewatch or catchup on the latest series dramas who missed it going out live.
With over 60,000 hours of TV available on demand for free, Freeview Play also gives suggestions to each user, which residents can use to potentially find a new series to enjoy at their own leisure.
Combined with state-of-the-art Smart TVs is the installation of Peerless’ Articulating Display Wall Mount in each of the lounge areas and selected bedrooms. These mounts combine both viewing flexibility and installation ease. Peerless’ innovative Hook-and-Hang system allows for the easiest installation of the TV onto the bracket. Securing the TV in position has never been simpler as well, with a ratcheting handle providing locking tilt capabilities to allow for quick adjustments when reducing glare on the TV and optimizing the viewing angle, which is key in the lounge areas in particular.
