Craft Union is part of the Stonegate Group and operates a large estate of community-focused pubs across the UK. Positioned on busy high streets and local hubs, Craft Union venues rely on clear, value-led messaging to attract passing footfall and communicate offers throughout the trading day.
With promotions frequently changing and competition for attention increasing, Stonegate continues to invest in digital solutions that allow Craft Union pubs to remain visible, relevant and engaging from both outside the venue and within the pub environment.
Stonegate required a high brightness window screen solution to be rolled out across a selected group of an array of Craft Union pubs. The objective was to insert digital displays that could clearly communicate promotional messaging in all lighting conditions, while also supporting internal visibility where appropriate.
Each venue came with its own set of challenges, including differences in window sizes, ceiling heights and sightlines, which in turn demanded site-specific solutions. Some locations required screens focused on street-facing visibility, while others needed displays that could engage both passers-by and customers inside the pub.
We needed to deliver a flexible yet consistent approach, tailoring each installation to the individual space while maintaining a clean, secure finish. All sites were completed within a five-week timeframe, with minimal disruption to live trading.
TVC carried out detailed site surveys across all multiple locations to assess window layouts, internal sightlines and mounting requirements, ensuring that each solution would work effectively within a live pub environment.
Based on these findings, a mix of ultra-high brightness window displays were specified, including both single-sided and double-sided screens and floor to ceiling mounting solutions, selected to give pub operators a clear and reliable way to promote offers that remain visible in all daylight conditions.
We also supplied and professionally installed bespoke perspex screens where required, delivering a durable and effective safety solution for high-traffic areas. Designed to withstand daily wear and tear, the screens provide long-lasting protection while maintaining clear visibility and a clean, professional finish.
Each installation was carefully measured to ensure a secure fit and seamless integration with the existing environment, combining practicality, safety, and a high-quality appearance.
All displays were installed using bespoke B-Tech System 2 pole-mounted solutions, designed specifically for each site using accurate measurements taken during the survey phase.
This ensured that every screen position was optimised within the window space, maintained clear visibility from all key viewpoints and integrated cleanly into the existing environment, without obstructing customer flow or internal sightlines.
Each screen was supplied with digital signage software pre-installed and fully configured prior to installation, allowing Craft Union operators to update content quickly and easily without the need for additional setup or technical support.
This provided a simple and flexible way to keep promotions current across the estate, supporting daytime messaging and reactive offers.
The rollout was completed over a five-week period, with installations carefully scheduled to avoid disruption during peak trading hours.
Despite the variation between sites, the finished result delivered a consistent and professional presentation across the estate, transforming pub windows into high-impact digital communication points that remain clearly visible in daylight and continue to engage customers once inside the venue.
