The Keys pub is a pet friendly local in the Southampton area. It has recently been acquired by the Craft Union Pub Company who have renovated the premises. They sought the help of TVC to update the AV equipment to provide a better experience for their customers. Craft Union work closely with TVC because of our wealth of experience supplying and installing audio visual equipment to the hospitality industry.
In the Front Area, 2 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs were included on Peerless flat wall brackets. We opted for these brackets because of their sleek, minimalistic design and they provide easy access for maintenance. 2 x 6” Cloud speakers were also used in this area.
In the Main Bar area, 1 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TV and 1 x 50” Samsung 4K Hospitality LED TV were mounted behind the bar. We connected the display screens to a commercial grade media player with MySign digital signage software, this allows easy and flexible promotion of the drinks offers to customers which can be updated internally by staff. Opposite the bar, there are 4 luxurious booths with comfortable seating, we included 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV in each booth so that customers can socialise in smaller groups and watch live sport.
In the Sports Area, there is a brand-new pool table and 2 dart boards, so it was decided that stronger audio equipment would be necessary in this zone. Therefore, 4 x 8” Audac 175-Watt Loudspeakers and 1 x 12” Subwoofer were included in the fit out alongside 2 x large single unit lighting effects. 2 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs were also set up so that customers can watch the live sport while having a pool tournament of their own!
Finally, the Outdoor Area was transformed by TVC by adding 1 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TV with a TVC Outdoor TV Enclosure to secure and protect the screen in all weather conditions. 2 x 5” IP55 speakers were used so that customers can hear the sporting commentary even when they’re outside.
The Keys has now re-opened and is ready to welcome new customers, even bring along your furry friends! Make sure you give them a visit if you’re ever in the Southampton area, you’ll be greeted with a cold pint and a comfortable seat to watch the sport on the high-quality AV equipment.
