The Green Star pub in Stoke on Trent (part of the Craft Union Pub Company) has recently re-opened following a full indoor refurbishment by new management. It was an attempt to attract new customers from the local area and bring back existing regulars too.
For the AV refurbishment, the requirement was to add multiple TV screens with audio across the premises to watch daily viewings of sports and host live music, karaoke, and bingo nights. They wanted to add to the lively atmosphere, offer more screens to watch live sport on and add a digital signage system to help promote products/offers at the bar.
In the main bar area, TVC Engineers installed 3 x Samsung LED TVs from 32” – 55” with flat wall brackets. 5 x new RCF 6″ surface mount speakers with horizontal brackets were included in this area and 2 x 65″ Swedex Monitors and brackets were reused.
As well as the above, an Audac 10″ Subwoofer was set up in the main bar area, they are engineered to be as compact as possible while giving the maximum performance in terms of sound quality. A Showtec 3-in-1 Terminator was also included to add different lighting effects to use alongside the Subwoofer.
In addition, a single commercial grade media player was installed and connected to a display screen located behind the bar, the digital signage software allows easy and flexible promotion of the drinks/food offers to customers.
3 x Samsung LED TVs (32” and 55”) were also installed to the right of the bar and 2 x 55” Samsung LEDS TVs in the Games Bar Area. In both areas, existing JD System speakers and brackets were reused. So now there’s plenty of outlets to watch the football no matter how busy the pub gets!
