St Fagans Castle pub in Penarth, part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, has recently reopened following a major investment. It is now the perfect place to watch all the sporting action, they have six HD screens across the premises all with Sky Sports and BT Sports packages.
For the AV refurbishment, the requirement set out by the new owners was to add multiple TV screens and audio across different areas of the premises. Additionally, they requested a Commercial Grade Media Player including digital signage software and templates to update with drinks offers behind the bar.
In the Front Bar area, 3 x Samsung LED TVs were installed ranging from 32” – 65”. They were fixed on either Peerless or B-Tech flat wall brackets. 3 x 6” RCF speakers were also mounted in this area. In the Rear Bar, 2 x 55” Samsung LED TVs were installed and 1 x 32” Samsung LED TV. 2 x RCF 6” speakers were also fitted. Finally, in the Rear Raised Area, 1 x 65” Samsung 4K LED TV was installed and 2 x RCF 6” speakers.
In addition, a single commercial grade media player was installed and connected to a display screen located behind the bar, the digital signage software allows easy and flexible promotion of the drinks/food offers to customers.
Audio-Technica Rack-Mount wireless handheld microphones were included in the installation, equipped with a practical carrying case, rack-mount kit, and detachable antennae. This along with all the necessary equipment to connect them to the amp. This means the pub is now fully equipped for a rocking karaoke evening!
Everyone at St Fagans Castle was extremely happy with the work carried out by TVC and are looking forward to a busy schedule of weekly events including Race Days, Open Mic Nights, Karaoke and live entertainment.
