The Star pub in Roffey has just reopened following a huge investment by new owners. First and foremost, they sought to upgrade the AV equipment to attract more customers and increase revenue, but also aimed to give the venue a facelift with new, modern décor throughout.
In the Front/Raised area, we wanted to wow customers as soon as they enter the premises, therefore we opted for 1 x 65” Samsung Hospitality 4K LED TV and 2 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs. The stunning 4K picture quality will bring the live sport fixtures to life and will help entertain customers as soon as they walk through the door. To complement the TV screens in this area, 4 x Audac 8” 175W Loudspeakers were fixed on swivel brackets.
In the Bar area, 2 x 43” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs were fixed above the bar and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV was fitted behind the bar on a B-Tech flat TV bracket. Flat TV brackets offer a sleek, modern mounting solution for all flat screen TVs, fitting them only mm from the wall but still allowing easy access for maintenance.
The 32” flat screen TV installed directly behind the bar will be used to inform customers of current drinks offers and pub marketing materials. To enable this, we connected it to an intuitive digital signage player with MySign digital signage software and templates. With an array of easy-to-use digital signage templates to choose from, staff at the Star can now update the content on screen easily at pub level.
To increase the pub’s footfall, especially with the upcoming World Cup, new owners wanted an Outdoor TV to transform the beer garden into an outdoor viewing area. TVC Engineers fitted 1 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TV on a Peerless flat TV bracket at the highest visibility point in the outdoor area. To ensure the TV screen is protected from wind, rain, or any other adverse weather condition, it was secured with a TVC Outdoor TV Enclosure. This Perspex Outdoor TV Enclosure provides an airtight TV shield that will give staff ease of mind that the Outdoor TV will not be damaged even on the busiest of evenings!
New owners are certain that the new state-of-the-art AV equipment, especially the Outdoor TV, will transform the Star into Horsham’s number one destination to watch all the World Cup matches!
