The Ship, a local favourite in Scarborough, has recently undergone a major refurbishment, featuring a comprehensive AV technology upgrade by TVC Technology Solutions.
The Ship customers will now enjoy improved audio, additional screens, dynamic digital signage, and enhanced lighting, making the venue ideal for live sports, entertainment, and more.
Across the bar areas, patrons are welcomed by an array of Samsung 4K LED Hospitality TVs, with three 55” and two 32” screens strategically placed around the entire bar area. Designed for the venue’s operational demands, these commercial-grade displays deliver reliable performance during business hours, ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment of live sports and entertainment events.
The Ship’s bar area now includes a 32” Samsung Hospitality screen behind the bar, facing customers, equipped with a MySign digital signage player to display current promotions and event schedules.
MySign’s cloud-based software allows the team to effortlessly schedule and update promotions, ensuring timely display of entertainment, live sports, and drinks offers in real-time.
To enhance the pub’s atmosphere, two ceiling-mounted lighting effects have been installed, enabling The Ship Inn to effortlessly adjust the ambiance during peak times and elevate the overall visual experience.
The pub has made significant audio upgrades to ensure exceptional sound quality. We have supplied and installed four 8” Audac loudspeakers, delivering rich, low-frequency audio. These speakers provide superb coverage throughout the venue, with mid/low-frequency drivers that offer clear, high-fidelity sound for both music and speech, enhancing the experience for live entertainment and sports at this Scarborough favourite.
To elevate the customer experience in the pool and darts areas, we have installed two 55” Samsung 4K LED Hospitality TVs. Designed for extended use, this commercial-grade display is built to resist overheating, providing patrons at The Ship with a reliable, high-quality viewing experience as they enjoy darts, pool, or live sports in the background.
Complementing the hospitality screens in the pub’s vibrant areas, we have also installed a powerful audio setup, featuring five Cloud 6” mid-range two-way speakers in black.
Featuring smooth frequency response and excellent off-axis performance, these Cloud In-Ceiling Speakers effectively amplify sound during busy match days and live entertainment.
