The Queen Victoria is an upbeat pub known for its daily showings of live sports. The London based pub had a revamp by TVC that involved installing new modern AV equipment in multiple areas throughout the pub including the outdoor area.
For the AV refurbishment project, the requirement was to add multiple TV screens with audio to help add to the lively atmosphere, offer more screens to watch live sport on and add a digital signage system to help promote products/offers at the bar.
As per the specification of the client, a total of 8 x Samsung Hospitality LED TV screens ranging from 32” to 65” were installed and 1 x existing Samsung 55” TV screen was reused. Also included in the fit out was 8 x RCF speakers ranging from 6” to 8” and 2 x 6” Cloud speakers which were again repurposed, offering evenly distributed audio throughout the venue. Peerless flat wall brackets with a low-profile design were used to mount the screens only mm from the wall.
In the main bar area, we specified an additional Audac 10” Subwoofer, engineered to be as compact as possible while giving the maximum performance in terms of sound quality, it’s ideal for busier times when stronger audio is needed.
A single commercial grade media player was installed and connected to a prominent display screen located behind the bar, the digital signage software allows easy and flexible promotion of the latest drinks offers to customers.
Finally, the outdoor area also benefitted from the installation of a large outdoor TV. Secured to the wall within a bespoke TVC outdoor enclosure, the new outdoor display offers a great live sport viewing alternative, especially in the warmer months of the year.
