The Old Cross pub in Oldbury is a lively pub serving all your favourite beers, wines and cocktails! They were recently taken over by the Craft Union pub company and have undergone a considerable AV renovation by TVC. They are now well equipped to play live sports on the big screens located around the premises and are hoping to attract new customers.
In the front bar area, 1 x 32” & 1 x 50” Hospitality Samsung LED TVs were installed on Peerless and B-Tech Flat Wall Brackets. They were mounted only mm from the wall for a sleek and modern look, while still allowing access to the rear of the screen for easy installation and service access. 2 x Cloud 4” Speakers were used in this area, which are compact in design and are custom built for quality performance. In addition, a single commercial grade media player was installed and connected to a display screen located behind the bar, the digital signage software allows easy and flexible promotion of the drinks/food offers to customers.
To the left of the bar, 3 x 55” Hospitality Samsung LED TVs were mounted on Peerless flat wall brackets. 4 x Cloud 6” Speakers were included in this area to provide the full AV experience for guests in the pub.
There is also a raised level with 5 tables where 1 x 55” Samsung LED TV was mounted on the back wall and 2 x 6” Cloud speakers. This means large groups can now use this area to watch the sports and socialise separate from other customers.
The Old Cross has a games room which is equipped with a brand-new pool table and a light up dart board. We installed a Audac 10” Subwoofer, engineered to be as compact as possible while giving the maximum performance in terms of sound quality, it’s ideal for busier times when stronger audio is needed. A 4-in-1 LED lighting effects device was also included to use alongside the Subwoofer.
Now the renovation is complete, staff at the Old Cross are hoping that new customers will visit to watch live sports and drink some good beer! If you’re ever in the Oldbury area, be sure to pop in and say hi, as well as admiring the top of the range AV equipment installed by TVC.
