The Globe pub in Hackney has undergone an extensive refurbishment including replacing all old AV equipment with new, modern technology. They sought the expertise of TVC to install new TV screens and audio throughout the premises to display live sport and ultimately improve the customer experience.
In the Main Bar area, 3 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV were installed around and behind the bar on a mix of Peerless and B-Tech flat TV brackets. We opted for Hospitality TVs over domestic TVs as they are designed solely for use in Hospitality settings, meaning they are built to run for longer periods. The 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV fitted behind the bar will display current drinks offers using a state-of-the-art digital signage player with bespoke MySign digital signage software and templates. If staff want to change the messaging on screen they can now do so quickly and easily at pub level.
The new owners wanted to impress customers as soon as they walk through the door, therefore in the Entrance Area TVC Engineers installed an impressive 65” Samsung Hospitality 4K LED TV with clear, detailed picture quality. This large-scale TV screen will display all the popular live sport matches, so 2 x Audac 6” 80W Loudspeakers were included so customers can clearly hear the sporting commentary while watching in stunning 4K picture quality.
Another attraction to the new Globe pub is the Games Area with brand new light up dart boards. 1 x 65” Samsung Hospitality 4K LED TV and 1 x Samsung Hospitality LED TV were fitted in this area on Peerless flat TV brackets. Flat TV brackets offer a modern mounting solution, installing TV screens only mm from the wall while still being easily accessible for maintenance. To accompany the TVs in this zone, 2 x Audac 8” 175W Loudspeakers were included on swivel brackets. Finally, an Audac 12” Subwoofer and 2 x single unit lighting effects were added for instances when stronger audio is needed and to add to the party atmosphere at the weekend!
