The Cardigan Arms is proud to be Corby’s number one venue for live sport and music! It has recently become part of the Craft Union Pub Company who have invested money into renovating the premises. This forms part of a plan to attract new customers by offering a wide selection of drinks, multiple outlets to watch sport and a comfortable environment to meet up with friends.
In the main bar area, 2 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV were installed on a mix of Peerless and B-Tech flat wall brackets. 4 x LD Systems speakers including brackets were re-used in this area. In addition, a large single unit light effects system was supplied and fitted by TVC to use alongside the loudspeakers.
A single commercial grade media player with digital signage software and templates was provided to link up to TV screens behind the bar. Staff can now easily update the display screens with current drinks offers and marketing materials.
In the Sport Games and Lounge areas, a total of 4 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs were mounted on Peerless flat wall brackets. 6 x Audac 8” 175W loudspeakers were also included on tilt and turn brackets to give staff flexibility on the positioning of the speakers. 1 x Audac 12” Subwoofer and 2 x large single unit light effects were added in the Lounge area. These are ideal for use on Saturday evenings when the pub hosts live music so stronger audio is needed.
Finally in the Outdoor area, an existing 65” TV screen with an outdoor TV enclosure was re-purposed and fixed onto the back wall using a Peerless flat wall bracket under a sheltered gazebo. 2 x existing 6” LD systems speakers were also re-used so now customers can view the live sport outdoors when the weather permits.
