As we begin to welcome more of our team members to work, it is becoming even more crucial to safeguard the health and safety of both our staff and visitors.

Therefore, we have undertaken all the necessary steps to ensure protection and peace of mind for anybody on and off our premises, and to ensure that we are complying with the government’s guidance. This includes compiling a COVID-19 risk assessment, creating guidelines specific to our staff and partners, and implementing several measures to create safe and hygienic working conditions in our facilities.

Here’s a summary of the main changes we are making to our daily working processes;

  • We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here
  • We have cleaning handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with government guidance
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
  • Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk
  • Any team member who should be self-isolating will not be on site
  • Team members, where possible, will travel to and from work alone
  • We will only attend jobs at the customers request
  • The entrance and exit to any premises will be agreed prior to the start of the job
  • Hands will be washed or sanitised upon entering and exiting a customer’s property
  • PPE, including gloves and facemasks, will be worn as per guidance and training provided
  • Workers will isolate themselves to the work area and will not make unnecessary movements around the premises
  • Trades will be staggered to ensure only necessary trades are on site at one time and social distancing is maintained
  • The work area will be disinfected at the end of each working session or day
  • We’ll communicate with our customers throughout any project, but at a distance and using telephone, video calls, messaging and email platforms, to ensure our highest standards of customer service are maintained
