The doors re-opened today for Champs sports bar & grill in Sheffield, a refurbishment project that saw the existing Champs completely transformed, including the installation of a video wall specially designed for live sport. TVC worked alongside architect’s Concept designs who were commissioned to help create a premium destination for live sports and food.
TVC Technology Solutions were instructed to assist Champs with their offering of wall to wall live sports that included the option to show promotions and events on the screens.
Working closely with the designer, the team at TVC were able to deliver the project on time, specification and within budget. In total, there are 14 x Smart 4K large screen TV’s fitted in the main bar and games area. To complete the transformation an impressive 3 x 3 46” video wall was installed in the main bar area supported by adjustable video wall brackets.
To create a stadium-like atmosphere a total of 33 x 6” speakers and 10” subwoofers were fitted throughout the venue.
At the newly refurbished Champs you can experience awesome viewing of Premier League, Champions League, Rugby Union, Rugby League, NBA, Tennis, Cricket, Golf or F1 on state of the art 4K Ultra HD Screens or on their incredible videowall.
The second part of the project, includes installation of one of the UK’s largest outdoor screens, reaffirming their status as a leading provider of sports entertainment. The large outdoor screen was installed ahead of the 2019 football season, a move that Champs saw as a key investment to become one of the largest attractions for sport in the area.
