The Rose Inn, on Hood Lane, described as a ‘true home away from home’ with its new ‘modern’ and ‘welcoming’ look, has reopened following a £188,000 investment. With upgrades to the bar area, seating, and the latest in audio-visual technology, this community pub is the place to catch all the sporting action on BT Sport and Sky across several new TV screens around the pub.
Starting in the main bar area, we installed 1 x 55” and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV, with the smaller of the screens being mounted behind the bar. Displayed in a prominent position, the 32” TV is ideal for informing customers of current drinks offers and upcoming events.
Powered by an intuitive digital signage player with MySign digital signage software and templates, it offers an array of easy-to-use digital signage templates to choose from, meaning staff at The Rose Inn can now update the content quickly and easily at pub level.
An additional 3 x 6” Cloud speakers were discretely positioned around the bar, providing premium clarity background music with high end performance and design.
For those looking to take part in some sporting action themselves, a new pool table and illuminated dartboard have also been added in the recently improved gaming area. To compliment the activities on offer in the Gaming Zone we added another 3 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TV screens, mounted flush to the wall but still allowing easy access for maintenance. Again, these screens were complimented with 4 x 6” Cloud speakers providing background audio.
The outdoor area received its very own upgrade in the form of an impressive 55” Outdoor TV, creating the perfect outdoor view area for live sport.
To ensure the Outdoor TV screen is protected from wind, rain, or any other adverse weather condition, it was secured with a bespoke TVC Outdoor Enclosure. This Perspex Outdoor TV Enclosure provides an airtight TV shield that will give staff peace of mind that the Outdoor TV will not be damaged even on the busiest of evenings!
There is a jam-packed entertainment schedule at The Rose Inn, from quiz nights and poker nights to live music and DJs. To help create the perfect atmosphere for any of these events, we supplied and installed a range of professional audio speakers in the main Lounge Area. Comprising of 3x Audac 8” 175W Loudspeakers and a single Audac 12” subwoofer. Finally, 3 x medium lighting effects were added to create the perfect party night.
A familiar face remains at the helm of the pub, with Shirley Fox staying as Operator. Shirley has worked at The Rose Inn for over 11 years. Shirley said: “We’ve got a fantastic offering of entertainment on offer here. Between our events throughout the week to our weekend music and live sport there really is something for everyone.”
