Kingfisher-Ipswich-Exterior

A hotspot in the Ipswich area, the Kingfisher pub recently underwent a six-figure makeover that included an all-encompassing AV technology overhaul courtesy of TVC Technology Solutions.

Now when patrons enter their local pub, they will see visible improvements to the venue. The upgrades to the audio, extensive additional viewing screens, digital signage, lighting effects and their outdoor AV output ensures the Kingfisher in Ipswich is now ready to display live sport, live entertainment and more.

Stage Area

Throughout the stage and bar areas, patrons are immediately captivated by an impressive array of Samsung 4K LED Hospitality TVs. The Kingfisher’s bar now features three screens, ranging from 32” to 75”, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of both customers and the pub owner.

These commercial-grade displays are engineered to operate seamlessly during the pub’s hours of business, ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment of upcoming sporting events and live entertainment.

Built for longer operational hours than standard consumer TVs, they are protected against overheating, guaranteeing a superior viewing experience for valued guests.

To further enhance the pub’s ambience, three lighting effects have been strategically installed in the ceiling, allowing the Kingfisher to effortlessly adjust the atmosphere during busy evenings and improve the visual presentation.

For audio enhancement, the Kingfisher focused on upgrades throughout the venue. A 15” Audac black subwoofer has been installed in the stage area, delivering industry-leading sound quality with a 1400W max output. Its efficient design produces a powerful 127dB sound, which disperses excellently across the stage.

Additionally, four Audac V108 200W loudspeakers have been evenly distributed throughout the pub area. With a total maximum output of 800W and an efficient mid/low range driver, these speakers deliver powerful, detailed sound in a compact, robust design.

Centre Bar & Pool Area

To complement the six 55” Samsung hospitality screens in the quieter areas of the pub, we have installed three 4” and six 6” Cloud surface-mount speakers. These speakers are designed to deliver exceptional audio performance while seamlessly blending into any setting. Their sleek, modern design and versatile mounting options provide clear, powerful sound, making them ideal for the Kingfisher environment.

Facing customers at the main bar is a 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV, positioned behind the bar and paired with MySign’s digital signage media player, which faces the entrance. This setup displays current promotions and the event schedule. A key advantage of the digital signage player is its intuitive interface, enabling the Kingfisher team to easily showcase the latest drink specials and promotional content.

MySign’s cloud-based software for digital signage offers a range of templates, allowing team members to effortlessly customise, schedule, and update specific pub promotions. This feature also ensures pre-designed templates can be incorporated into the daily schedule, displaying at designated times to highlight the venue’s entertainment throughout the day. Additionally, the digital display promotes beverage offers as various musicians or live performers take the stage.

Outdoor Area

At the Kingfisher’s renovated outdoor areas, we have provided and installed a range of outdoor Audac loudspeakers.

These specific models are manufactured for outdoor settings, with an IP55 rating that protects the devices from the elements whilst still retaining outstanding audio clarity.

Combined with aluminium bracket mounting for a more robust finish, it makes Audac’s outdoor loudspeakers perfect for outdoor environments such as Kingfisher’s beer garden, especially in busy summer periods.

Furthermore, alongside a 55” Samsung Hospitality TV, we have provided and installed a TVC Outdoor TV Enclosure. This Perspex shield provides specific protection from wind, rain and all other adverse weather conditions.
