The Earl of Chatham is a historic pub dating back to the 1840’s based in the Woolwich area. It has just re-opened its doors following a £300,000 refurbishment. The highlight of the renovation is the incomparable sports viewing with high-quality LED TVs showing Sky and BT Sports. This in addition to new booth seating, darts boards and pool tables.
In the Front Bar area, 3 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV were installed on a mix of Peerless and B-Tech flat TV brackets. The audio equipment TVC chose to accompany the LED TVs in this area were 4 x Audac 6” 80W Loudspeakers. These Loudspeakers are specifically designed for fixed audio installations in modern environments, they are unique in their full range audio design, which allows them to be used without additional bass cabinet.
In the Rear Bar area, 1 x 75” Samsung Hospitality 4K LED TV, 3 x 55” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs and 1 x 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV were mounted in this area on either B-Tech or Peerless flat TV brackets. This in addition to 6 x Audac 10” 175W Loudspeakers, 1 x 15” Audac Subwoofer and 1 x large single unit lighting effects. They were chosen for times when more powerful audio equipment is needed, for example when live music performers are present or on quiz nights.
The client requested that the 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TVs situated behind each bar would be used to display relevant drinks offers that could be updated or changed easily by staff. TVC selected a digital signage player with bespoke MySign digital signage software and templates.
