The Railway pub in Lancing recently underwent a complete refresh inside and out with a whole new AV system, including a total of ten new Samsung hospitality screens and twelve speakers, from leading commercial audio brands Cloud and Audac!
The main bar area within the Railway is in the heart of the pub and has been updated with a total of three new Samsung hospitality screens paired with three Audac V8” loudspeakers. A single 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV was fitted behind the bar to display current drinks offers and upcoming events such as quiz nights and major sporting events. Powered by a palm-sized digital signage player and bespoke MySign digital signage software and templates, staff at The Railway Pub can change the content on screen quickly and easily with this intuitive cloud-based software. The 65” and 55” wall-mounted Samsung 4K hospitality screens are perfectly located adjacent to the bar, ideal for showcasing the latest live sporting events on vivid colour-rich screens, helping to keep customers happy and entertained.
The games area of the Railway pub received three, 4K LED Samsung TV hospitality screens, one 65” and two 55”, perfect for guests to see every detail and immerse themselves in the live sports content. Paired perfectly with four Cloud 6” speakers specifically designed for high-quality music reproduction and suitable for speech such as sports commentary.
Four Samsung hospitality screens were installed into the sidebar including one 75”, two 55” and a final 32” screen. These hospitality screens are purpose-built for commercial environments, boasting high-quality picture performance and robust durability, ensuring they remain operational for extended periods compared to standard domestic TVs. This makes them an ideal choice for pub settings.
The sidebar also received an audio upgrade with the installation of three further Cloud 6″ speakers. These speakers not only deliver exceptional sound quality but also contribute to a sleek and seamless aesthetic. Their design achieves a flush appearance, making them virtually undetectable when installed.
Finally, the outside area benefited from the installation of a 55″ Samsung LED TV hospitality screen. It is housed in a bespoke TVC outdoor TV enclosure, allowing the screen to be left outside all year. The Outdoor TV enclosure is resistant to wind, rain, and other adverse weather conditions, resulting in a screen that can be used outside without the additional cost of a fully weatherproof outdoor TV. Paired with two Audac 5” IP55 Speakers, they are specifically designed and built to work in an outdoor environment. With a waterproof connector and specially treated powder coating providing the necessary protection for all weather conditions.
