The Cross Keys pub in Llandudno recently underwent a 6-figure refurbishment. The installation consisted of state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, to help with the entertainment nights, such as poker, darts, open mic and live music.

We have a range of new entertainment going on at the pub throughout the week, which alongside our new look makes the Cross Keys a must-try for both locals and passers-by.”
Behind the main bar a 32” Samsung Hospitality LED TV is fitted and used as an advertising screen for the pub. It showcases any offers the Cross Keys have to offer for food and drink and highlights the entertainment, that customers can expect each night of the week.
The digital signage is powered by a MySign media player. The user-friendly software provides an array of digital signage templates, making it quick, easy and accessible for staff to update and refresh the pub’s content.
In terms of audio, we also installed 6 Audac X6 80W loudspeakers which when added with the Audac 10” subwoofer this has significantly enhanced the audio experience within the pub setting. As the subwoofer provides a deep and clear bass that helps to add to any immersive audio experience that the Cross Keys pub is trying to create for its customers, especially for the open mic and live music nights.
Lastly, we also installed 3x Medium sized lighting effects to the main bar area which helps to create a lively and energetic atmosphere. Overall enhancing the sensory experience and helping to keep customers engaged and entertained.
In the sidebar area where the pool table and illuminated dart board are located, we moved an existing 55″ TV from the darts area to the rear seating area. Then replaced it with a 65″ Samsung 4K LED TV which is now the main focal point of the room.
We also mounted 2 Cloud 6″ 100v speakers. This is a type of loudspeaker that has been specifically built for use in commercial audio systems. Another great aspect of these speakers is that they can be installed on the ceiling or on solid surfaces. This makes them suitable for commercial settings such as offices, retail stores, restaurants, and bars. They are built to be long-lasting and dependable in order to resist the rigours of commercial use.
