Galleria Shopping Centre brings outlet shopping, restaurants, entertainment and community events together under one roof. Positioned above the A1(M) in Hatfield, it welcomes shoppers, diners and families throughout the week, making timely communication an important part of the visitor experience.

The Brief

A longstanding partner of the Galleria Shopping Centre, AL Marketing, chose TVC and Ad-Sign as their preferred partners to upgrade the marketing potential and limitless promotional opportunities for the outlet centre.

The system needed to present promotions, centre updates and entertainment content consistently, combining a high-impact feature wall with further screens positioned throughout the site.

Employees required remote content management and control of separate display groups. Equipment also needed to support long trading days, remain visible across changing sightlines and integrate securely within busy public spaces.

The Delivery

Philips Commercial Displays

TVC supplied 16 Philips 55-inch Q-Line commercial displays across Galleria Shopping Centre. Twelve form the wider display estate, allowing promotions, centre updates and visitor information to reach customers at multiple points throughout their journey. The remaining four displays create a larger feature wall, giving priority campaigns and branded content a more prominent visual platform within the centre.

Each screen combines 4K Ultra HD resolution, 400 cd/m² brightness and wide viewing angles, keeping text, imagery and promotional material clear as visitors approach from different directions. The 55-inch format provides enough scale to attract attention without overwhelming the surrounding retail environment.

Their 18/7 commercial operating profile supports the extended opening hours of Galleria Shopping Centre, providing the reliability required for regular daily use. Specifying the same model throughout also creates a consistent appearance and simplifies content testing, system configuration and future maintenance, helping reduce downtime across the display estate.

B-Tech Wall Mounts

Twelve B-Tech interface adaptor-arm wall brackets securely support the individually positioned Philips displays throughout Galleria Shopping Centre. Their slim construction accommodates the required VESA mounting pattern without adding unnecessary depth, allowing each screen to sit closely against its supporting surface and integrate naturally within the surrounding retail environment.

Using the same mounting approach across the display estate keeps each screen stable, accurately positioned and consistently aligned, creating a tidy finish across the centre. This is particularly important within busy, high-footfall areas where the technology must remain secure without disrupting customer movement or surrounding storefronts.

The mounting solution also provides practical access to the displays and associated connections, helping engineers complete inspections and maintenance efficiently while reducing disruption and potential downtime.

Ad-Sign Digital Signage

We installed six of Ad-Sign’s commercial digital signage players, each paired with an annual cloud licence for their intuitive signage software, provide centralised content management for Galleria Shopping Centre.

Employees can upload media, organise playlists and schedule campaigns remotely, updating several displays together or tailoring content to a particular group.

Promotions, events and visitor information can therefore be changed quickly when priorities shift.

Peerless Wall Mounting Solution

Four Peerless full-service mounts support the feature wall.

Tool-less micro-adjustment aligns the displays as one clean canvas, while the quick-release pull-out mechanism gives engineers access to an individual screen and its cabling without dismantling the wider wall. This combines a precise finish with efficient maintenance.

Seamless Connectivity

A Datapath Fx4 maps a high-resolution source across the four-screen feature, allowing it to operate as one canvas. Eight WyreStorm 1:4 scaling HDMI splitters and three 1:2 models distribute 4K signals across the wider estate, repeating content consistently while retaining separate paths for different areas.

Six Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K devices provide additional local source options alongside AD-Sign’s digital signage players and software, as Galleria Shopping Centre look to use BBC iPlayer and YouTube periodically for TV coverage and advertising campaigns. Supporting HDMI cabling and surge-protected power extensions complete the reliable signal path while keeping unnecessary hardware out of sight.

The Result

TVC Technology Solutions delivered a coordinated 16-screen network for Galleria Shopping Centre, combining Ad-Sign’s cloud-managed signage, a high-impact feature wall and flexible source distribution.

Employees can keep campaigns and visitor information current, while serviceable mounting and organised connectivity support dependable daily operation. The result is a clean, adaptable platform for future digital campaigns.
